Ages: 5+
Dates: June 24 & 25th and/or July 7-9th
Book: Wild Robots, 📅 June 24 & 25th
This book exemplifies the importance of community, a foundation of Ladybug Farm. Let's build friendships as we explore robotics while immersed in nature. We will study wild animals, explore energy sources, build basic circuits, befriend new hatchlings, and enjoy fresh snacks from the greenhouse.
Joining Ms. Shawna for this camp will be Ms. Leigh, a current Nature Immersion community member and public school elementary teacher.
Cost: $130
Book: Little House on the Farm, 📅 July 7, 8, 9th
Travel back in time as we explore this heartwarming autobiographical novel that follows Laura Ingall’s family as they journey and settle into the American Frontier. By the end of camp, children will have hands-on experiences that relate directly to this novel series, with experiences such as caring for the farm animals, milking goats, churning butter, cooking with produce from the garden, playing old-fashioned games, and crafting lanterns.
Joining Ms. Shawna for this camp will be Ms. Leigh, a current Nature Immersion community member and public school elementary teacher.
Cost: $195
For older children, they also have Potion Making for the Common Muggle (July 21-24, Ages 7+, $260) and Camp Half Blood (August 4-7, Ages 7+, $260), offering magical and mythical adventures!
