The kids are back at school, the mornings are crisp… and wait—didn’t you just drop that kid off at school? Yet here they are, standing in front of you, coughing with a runny nose. Yep, it’s cold season. But don’t worry, here in Moore County, we have some of the best honey around to help your family out. From one mom to another—honey is my holy grail (for those over age one!). When taken regularly, old wives' tales and testimonials suggest it may help prevent and shorten colds, as well as ease seasonal allergies.

The Sandhills area is home to some of the tastiest and most nutritious honey on the East Coast. Local beekeepers in MoCo produce everything from wildflower honey to the elusive purple honey (a variety only found here!). Fortunately, we have a few fantastic vendors to help you stockpile nature’s golden miracle.
