Join the Sandhills Friends Group for an Easter-themed morning outdoors at a local horse rescue on Friday, March 29th from 10 am to 12 pm.
The event will feature special guest Finn, a miniature horse from Horse and Buddy, and published author Rosa Scarboro, who will host a children's story time reading of "Finn: A Story of Belonging."
Activities include a movement session before the Easter egg hunt and seven activity stations, such as face painting and horse treat stations.
The cost is $5 per family, payable directly to the rescue, and a liability form is required.
Additionally, we welcome any donations of empty plastic eggs for the event, and families are encouraged to bring whole carrots and/or apples for the horses, with a child-friendly supervised cutting station available. Join us for a memorable and fun-filled morning!
