Event Planner
Potential Start Date: January 2025
The Event Planner will play a key role in fostering community relationships for MoCo Mom by organizing monthly events designed for local moms and their children. This includes coordinating monthly free Saturday playdates with storytime sessions, as well as experiential Mom’s Night Out events such as golf lessons, yoga and wine nights, seasonal activities, and other engaging activities.
Responsibilities:
Plan and execute monthly Saturday playdates and storytime events.
Recruit hosts and part-time providers to sponsor and support playdates.
Design and organize unique, experiential Mom’s Night Out events.
Manage all event communications, including invitations, confirmations, and reminders.
Oversee event setup, ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day of the event.
Foster relationships with local sponsors to enhance event offerings.
Planning of events well in advance.
Help with marketing strategy and implementation of events.
Compensation:
$15/hour for up to 5 hours per week.

Promotions Coordinator
Potential Start Date: January 2025
The Promotions Coordinator will lead efforts to secure sponsorships and advertising opportunities for MoCo Mom, helping to sustain and grow its mission of supporting mothers in the community. This role involves outreach to local businesses, schools, and childcare providers to build meaningful partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Comfortable with a CRM
Identify and reach out to local businesses, schools, and childcare providers for sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
Develop and maintain relationships with community partners that align with MoCo Mom’s mission.
Create and present sponsorship packages tailored to potential partners.
Manage continued communication related to sponsorship agreements.
Collaborate with the team to ensure all sponsorships are properly recognized and promoted.
Help with marketing strategy and implementation of paid sponsorships & event scheduling.
Compensation:
$15/hour for up to 5 hours per week.
Additional incentives for securing sponsorships or advertising sales.

Community Outreach Coordinator & Digital Marketing Manager
Potential Start Date: April 2025
The Community Outreach Coordinator & Digital Marketing Manager will be the primary connection between MoCo Mom and local schools, organizations, and resources. This role focuses on engaging families, promoting community activities, and building trust to secure sponsorship opportunities while maintaining MoCo Mom's presence as a trusted resource for parents.
Responsibilities:
Manage and update social media platforms with engaging, family-focused content.
Create and distribute weekly newsletters to inform families about local activities, resources, and sponsorships.
Conduct quarterly check-ins with local schools to gather information on upcoming events, registration deadlines, and other updates important to parents.
Foster and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, and sponsors, building trust and collaboration.
Serve as a visible and approachable community leader representing MoCo Mom.
Understanding of Squarespace, Canva (Illustrator, big plus) & Social Media Marketing is necessary.
Work directly with Event Planner and Promotions Coordinator to help promote content and develop marketing strategies.
Compensation:
$15/hour for up to 5-10 hours per week.
