Little Pines Academy is a part or full-time school offering before and after care for children ages 2-6 located in downtown Southern Pines.

Hours: Monday – Friday: 9 AM - 2 PM

• Before Care is available 7:30-9 AM

• After Care is available 2-5:15 PM

Location: 387 W Pennsylvania Ave., Southern Pines, NC 28387

Ages: 2-Year, 3-Year, 4-Year, and Pre-K Classes 
Children must be the classroom age by September 15th.
Children must be fully potty trained to attend our 3YO – PreK classes.

Cost: 

• Half-Day: 9 AM – 12:30 PM

  • 2-Year-Old – 2 Day (Tues & Thurs): $285/month

  • 2-Year-Old – 3 Day (Mon/Wed/Fri): $405/month

  • 3-Year-Old: $445/month

  • 4-Year-Old: $445/month

• Full-Day: 9 AM – 2 PM

  • 2-Year-Old: $705/month

  • 3-Year-Old: $615/month

  • 4-Year-Old: $625/month

  • Pre-K (4-5 Year Old): $635/month

• Before Care: $11/day or $150/month

• After Care: $25/day or $325/month

Registration: A non-refundable application fee of $225 is due at the time of enrollment.

Enrollment: Enrollment for 2025-2026 opens December 9, 2024 for enrolled students and their siblings. Enrollment for our waitlist opens February 1, 2025. Families on the waitlist will be contacted in waitlist order.

Waitlist: A child may be placed on the waitlist for enrollment up to 3 years in advance. First priority will be given to returning children and siblings, followed by children on the waitlist. A non-refundable $35 waitlist fee is required. Waitlist Application

My thoughts: The waitlist can take up to years on this one, but if you’re lucky and your 3-year-old is fully potty trained, sometimes that waitlist goes by rather quickly while they’re vetting new children.
