Part-time Care, Full-time Care, Preschool, PreK: Our Saviour Preschool (OSP) offers part- and full-day church-affiliated Preschool & Pre-K care for children ages 1-5. Registration opens to the public Monday, December 30th at midnight.

Part-time Care, Full-time Care, Preschool, Pre-K: Just 20 minutes from Cameron, Independence Academy is a private, Montessori and Reggio-inspired school serving Toddlers-Elementary. Independence offers 5-Day, 3-Day, and 2-Day Full & Half-Day options for various ages. Before and after school hours are also available.

Independence Academy is located at 84 Tingen Road in Broadway

Full-time Care: Baby Bulls provides full-time care for children ages 6 weeks-5 years old. As of January 2024, all classrooms are full, with waitlists for the current school year and the 24'-25' school year.

They are located inside of McDeeds Creek Elementary at 2953 Camp Easter Rd in Southern Pines.

Part-time Care, Full-time Care, Preschool, Pre-K: Offering full-day and half-day options, Country Kids Preschool operates year-round. The preschool serves children aged 2 to 5, all must be potty trained. They accept subsidies from Child Care Aware (for military families) and Moore County DSS.

Country Kids Preschool is located at 154 Kirk Rd. in Aberdeen.

Infant Care, Full-time Care: Caterpillar Learning Academy will begin offering full-time care from 7:30 – 5:30 PM for children ages 12 weeks to 4 years on July 1. The classrooms will be divided by Infants, 1s & 2, and 3s & 4.

The facility will be located at 100B Gossman Drive in Southern Pines. They are looking to partner with Childcare Aware to subsidize care for our Military families.

Full-time Care, Preschool: Saint John Paul II is pleased to offer a full-day preschool program, five days per week for ages 4-6. Scholarship and financial assistance are available for qualifying families. Their application period begins on Wednesday, January 3, 2025.

Saint John Paul II is located at 2922 Camp Easter Road in Southern Pines.

Full-time Care, Infant Care, Preschool, PreK: Sandhills Children’s Center is a full-time school for children ages birth-5 located at 1280 Central Drive in Southern Pines. They provide care for children with and without special developmental needs.

The Southern Pines campus has an extremely long wait list for enrollment for all age groups. They are only accepting enrollment forms for children born between 9/1/23 - 8/31/24.

Private, Part-time, Full-time, Preschool, PreK: EDS is a private school offering education and character training to students from early Preschool through 5th grade. Half-day and Full-day programs are offered.

Observation sessions to watch your child play and interact with their peers begin in late January. An application and reserved time slot are required prior to possible enrollment. EDS is located at 340 E. Massachusetts Ave, Southern Pines, N.C., 28387

Private, Part-time, Full-time, Preschool, PreK: O’Neal is a private school offering education from PreK-3 through Grade 12. Half-day and Full-day Programs are offered in the Lower School PreKs. Summer camps are also available.

Their full-time hours are from Monday – Friday 9am-3pm with after care, Kids Club, available. Located at 3300 Airport Road in Southern Pines.

Infant-PreK, Part-time Care, Full-time Care: Christs Way Child Development Center is a Christian-based childcare facility located off of Highway 15 501 providing part and full-time care to children beginning from early infancy to preschool.

They operate in two shifts from 6:45 AM to 4:45 PM or 4:45-11 PM Monday-Friday (Saturdays by request) with meals included and are located at 7681 NC Highway 15 501 West End, NC 27376.

Part-time Care, Full-time Care, PreK: Little Pines Academy is a part or full-time school for children ages 2-6 located in downtown Southern Pines. Enrollment for their 2025-2026 waitlist opens February 1, 2025. Families on the waitlist will be contacted in waitlist order.

Their full-time hours are from Monday – Friday 9 AM -2 PM with before and after care available. Located at 387 W Pennsylvania Ave.

Private, Part-time, Full-time, Preschool, PreK: SCCS offers a private classical and Christian education for preschool through 12th grade, with preschool locations in both Southern Pines and Pinehurst. They provide both Half Day and Full Day options for 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds, and Pre-K, along with summer camps and before/after care.
