The Connection Corner

The Connection Corner offers a variety of small groups, therapeutic practices, workshops, and individualized services for children of all ages, stages, and abilities. Class examples include yoga & mindfulness for babies through teens, speech-language therapy & social skills groups, pediatric occupational therapy, process art, sensory play and art workshops, youth life coaching, creative movement & intuitive dance, youth sound bath & sound therapies.

Hours and Days: Dependent on class/workshop schedule each day

Location: 138 W. Pennsylvania Ave. Southern Pines, NC 28315

Ages: Babies — Teens

Programs: check calendar to confirm dates

  • Mindfulness + Sensory Play (all ages with a caregiver, typically children are 18m-age 5ish), Thursdays 3-4pm & Select Fridays 9:30-10:30am

  • Mixed-Age Mindfulness (age 4+), Mondays 3:45-4:45pm and Saturdays 9-10am

  • Preschool Mindfulness (ages 3-6), Mondays 2:30-3:30pm

  • Mixed-Age Process Art (ages 4+), Wednesdays 3-4pm and Thursdays 4:30-5:30pm

  • Pre-Writing Play & Movement (ages 3-5), Fridays 12:30-1:30pm

  • Letter Play & Movement (ages 5+), Fridays 11:15-12:15pm

  • Speech Play Group (age 2-6) with Splashes of Speech, LLC, 1 Friday per month 9:30-10:30

  • Occupational Therapy Play Group (ages 2-6) with Play With Me OT, 1 Friday per month 9:30-10:30

Cost: 

  • Drop-in small group: $20 

  • 10 class package: $180 (no expiration, class packages can be shared among family members)

  • Workshops, individual sessions, and specialty group prices vary/event

Registration: Registration is required for some ongoing fall classes and workshops
