Part-time, Pre-K, Nature: DIRT Outdoor School program opens for it's spring semester in March 2024. They meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9AM to 1PM in Robbins, NC and cater to children ages 4-8 years old. Summer camps will begin in June!

Registration is open with an interest form and tour suggested before completing your child’s enrollment.

Drop-off, Part-Time Care: Drop Zone Kids provides a safe and engaging childcare solution for children ages 12 months to 12 years for up to 4 hours. They are open Monday-Saturday.

Private, Part-time, Full-time, Preschool, PreK: EDS is a private school offering education and character training to students from early preschool through 5th grade. Half-day and Full-day programs are offered.

Private, Part-time, Full-time, Preschool, PreK: O’Neal is a private school offering education from PreK-3 through Grade 12. Half-day and Full-day Programs are offered in the Lower School PreKs. Summer camps are also available.

Their full-time hours are from Monday – Friday 9am-3pm with after care, Kids Club, available. Located at 3300 Airport Road in Southern Pines.

Part-time, Pre-K, Nature, Mommy & Me, Summer Camps: Ladybug Farm hosts Forest Kindergarten two days per week for children ages 4-6, Summer Camps, an Autumn-time “Little Farmers” for both parent and child, and — there’s more — a Home Hatchery where you incubate your own chicks!

They meet at Shawna’s farm in Pinebluff as scheduled.

Part-Time Care: Un Poco is a Spanish Immersion preschool. They meet Tuesdays-Thursdays from 9 AM - 12:30 PM. Children are eligible for Mornings with Un Poco from the age of 15 months until the end of the school year that follows their 3rd birthday.

Part-time Care, Preschool: The Little Schoolhouse offers part-time classes for 2s, 3s, 4s, and Young 5s.

Infant-PreK, Part-time Care, Full-time Care: Christs Way Child Development Center is a Christian-based childcare facility located off of Highway 15 501 providing part and full-time care to children beginning from early infancy to preschool.

They operate in two shifts from 6:45 AM to 4:45 PM or 4:45-11 PM Monday-Friday (Saturdays by request) with meals included and are located at 7681 NC Highway 15 501 West End, NC 27376.

The Garden Montessori

Mommy & Me, Part-Time Care, Preschool, After School Programs, Summer Camps: The Garden is a Montessori-based program that offers a variety of half-day learning environments and classes to children under the age of 6. It is emphasized to start with the Parent & Child Classes to properly integrate children into the program. Siblings and currently enrolled students gain preference over other applicants.

The classrooms are housed inside the Congregational Church Of Pinehurst at 895 Linden Rd with the Nature Schools expanding throughout the church grounds.

Part-time Care, Preschool, PreK: Little People Loving & Learning Preschool offers programs to children ages 1-5. Their Preschool is separated into classes: 1-year-old, 2-year-old, 3-year-old, 4-year-old/PreK class. Each class meets 2, 3, or 5 times a week depending on age.

Their hours are 8:30-11:30 am and they are located inside the Southern Pines UMC at 175 Midland Road in Southern Pines.

Part-time Care, Full-time Care, PreK: Little Pines Academy is a part or full-time school for children ages 2-6 located in downtown Southern Pines.

Their full-time hours are from Monday – Friday 9am-2pm with before and after care available. Located at 387 W Pennsylvania Ave.

Private, Part-time, Full-time, Preschool, PreK: Sandhills is a private classical and Christian school offering preschool through 12th grade. The Preschool of SCCS offers locations in both Southern Pines and Pinehurst with half-day and full-day options, summer camps, as well as before- and after-care available.

The Preschools are located at 6 Carter Street in Pinehurst and 1425 Midland Rd. in Southern Pines. You must speak to the Preschool Administration before completing an application. Enrollment begins in January.

Mommy & Me: Valkyrie Sporthorses is a riding academy where children can gain confidence and advance their skill set riding horses. Their programs include Little Breeches, Traditional Riding Lessons for Kids and Adults, Birthday Parties, and Summer Camps (parent & child!).

They are located at: 11597 Aberdeen Rd in Aberdeen.

Mommy & Me: Refugio offers children and adult beginner to intermediate Horsemanship Riding Lessons. They operate off of 896 Yadkin Rd in Southern Pines. Also consider Drop-In Lessons, Pony Camps, and Birthday Parties at Refugio!

Mommy & Me: P.E. In the Pines offers outdoor physical education classes for kids 18 months—5 years of age. Join their free monthly Social Butterfly class to meet, play, and socialize with your babes (under 18 months of age!) and fellow MoCo Moms!

Mommy & Me, Summer Camps: Encore offers side-by-side ballet classes for ages 2-3, tiny tots, and preschool dance classes for ages 3-5. Kindermusik is also available on Fridays. Registration for recital classes closes Jan 15 but they will start some non-recital classes and open summer camp registration on Feb 1.

Mommy & Me: OM Dance Studio offers pre-dance classes weekly designed for younger dancers (3-5) to learn the fundamentals of dance in a supportive and fun environment.

Mommy & Me: S.L.A.M., is a fitness group focused on community. Your babes are welcome to join as you get your sweat on with your peers. Classes are all 60 minutes long and offer a variety of movements and sequences that accommodate all levels of fitness. Playgroups, races, Mom's Nights Out, and extra challenges are included with membership.

S.L.A.M. meets every weekday starting at 9:30 am. They gather throughout a variety of locations in Aberdeen, Pinehurst, and Southern Pines.

Mommy & Me, Kid-Friendly Gym: My Gym Sandhills offers kids birthday parties, Mommy and Me, gymnastics camps, and other programs for ages 6 weeks – 10 years. They offer an extensive variety of classes throughout the day to both members and non-members.

My Gym is located next to Forte Fitness at 262A Pinehurst Ave. in Southern Pines.

Mommy & Me: The Connection Corner offers a variety of small groups, therapeutic practices, workshops, and individualized services for children of all ages, stages, and abilities. The schedule changes daily and some classes or workshops require pre-registration.
